Out of curiosity, why can only humans and Rappaccinians take Loving family?

I understand why Strain 117, Bound, Changelings, Fetch, etc can't, but what about Psychics and Cyborgs? Sure, most Cyborgs are strangely enhanced, but loved ones might not notice third generation cyborgs have anything extremely off about them. Psychics might tend to be loners, but they could have close connections to family. (Arguably they might only have close connections to family, who might be the only ones who could know their secret and still accept them, or whose presences might be the only ones who don't grate on them.)

I'm just curious about the whole thing, and was thinking about it this morning.

Cyborgs are very tightly knit into the megacorporation world in one way or another and it is difficult to mesh "loving family" with "cutthroat dystopian noir" in my brain. At least that's my take on it.

Psychic are very much meant to be loners and outsiders to one degree or another. Even those with physical powers catch "mental bleed through" from nearby people, and generally come off as extremely unsettling. Between liking privacy and widespread persecution, many become drifters.

Just for clarity, is every group mentioned in the beginning of the rulebook eligible for the Rank quality? By which I mean, the ROFLcopters, Diogenes Club, and Four Towers seem like non-hierarchical organizations...

As per the instructions in the rulebook, the only group listed you cannot be a part of is the local lumber and paper company.
