Hmmm let's see... To just choose a few...

I'd have to say that while the Quest for the Key of the Wilds was GRUELING (Oh gosh that was the most-tense walk ever! My shoulders are still a mess!) It's was really cool, MAN did I kinda want to bump the key just to see what would happen! Had to panic a bit though when the back line was left in Faerie. Stupid rain getting all in my eyes... and making my nose runny too... Thank goodness they came back! And the grant 5 protection I got for bearing the key was awesome! (more on that in my next bit)

Going into Quazar labs with full health, a point of style armor, and 5 protection was amazing since they wasted out our sanity right away and I got to go ham with a death wish and 9 HP. I think the poor NPC might have thought I was not taking my shots! It was the best way to blow 5 points of protection ever.

Going mad a second time but having both my arms maimed at the time was even funnier!

A close second to that was someone saying Casidhe had the "best idea so far" while deciding where to stash the second key we recovered. (Boy was I shocked. Also thank god you didn't actually go with her idea; seriously if anyone says that again we all need to very carefully evaluate our life choices!)

There's more but top best moment at OR this weekend.

Standing around Sunday morning with Gary, Victor, Jackel, Billy, Levi, Jones and others. A RL middle aged British man and his wife walk into the AAA, revisiting the campsite they used to attend. She is reading the Last Free Voice left on the table and after after giving us the once over all he says is "Well, you're a right looking lot aren't you?"

"Welcome to Whisper Hill. We're a right looking lot."

Other favorite moments.

Pitch black sneak through the Parsons' place. Realizing I was the only one left with no baseballs in sight and the ensuing civil confrontation with Mr. Parsons. Tense stuff.

All the drama around Victor's wedding. Best of all Lou's version. Forever the mental image of the Dusk King chest butting Jaimie Kennigan shouting "Fuck you! You wanna go!?" will give Hana a smile on the cold nights.

Late night relationship talk with Gary and Victor. The mental image of washed up Gary with a can of spray cheese, a fist full of crackers and no one to love.

Awkward Alice comforting.

The Hike. Yes, this was a high point!

Lets see... off the top of my head.

- Upstanding Citizen Brigade
- Getting the S*t kicked out of me physically and emotionally by Posiedon corp
- The walk to and from Faerie. I pissed off a Wood Wyrm. It was epic!
- Chatting with Billy St. Clair about Father Hand Cannon
- Drop Bears... MOTHERF-ING DROP BEARS!!!
- Pissing off the Art Collector to provide distractions for Noel's escape. "Disarm Disarm... Shit... I REGRET NOTHING!!!!"

* Because I haven't laughed like that in a while - communing with the Great Spirit of the Dropbears. Katie was EN FUEGO - everyone else in the group? Funny. Katie? Hilarious. I needed this after the following:

* Personal stuff (Linette)

* The interrogation with Giovanni and Mr Jones standing to the side arguing the merits of turning The Captive Ezra over to Mr. Saturday while Romeo madly rocks a bit back with this manic grin and Ondrej sensibly discusses monetary compensation was such a beautiful play of Carrot and Sticks. sigh
(I heart that Giovanni got I was kneeling on Captive Ezra's maimed leg - someone got my subtle. Sniff)

* The idea of a Human Chart with stars on it for moments of being human - and how JDs has to have magnets so the stars can be removed

* The discussion of where to stash the key. When The Darkness seems like a valid choice...? snort

* Teamwork carrying The Wilds key. That desperate double-time with Malcolm running BACKWARDS across the field towards the Diner - seems to have to have been something magic going on there. My thumbs still do not want to bend towards my palms.

* I'm not a fight mechanic person but some of the fight mechanics for this event were excellent - the mile and a half rolling fight back with The Wilds key held between 4 sticks as well as the baseball exit key of the Parson's Home fight made for heightened danger that was very well-done. I died in that second fight and, trust me, there was a complete sense of desperation and then hopelessness to that fight.

* Ness blown up on the toilet by a jacket bomb. heehee. Seriously - snorting thinking about it

* Very targeted psychic action – even though I missed a good chunk of the impact due to personal choices I truly appreciated the whole idea of it and how it is drawing everyone together

* Emotional pathos

* Henry getting his Hero Turn

- Alice finding someone new at Whisper Hill and offering them her "List of things that will try to kill you in Whisper Hill". Watching them read it and listening to the questions they ask and building an understanding alarmingly fast. I know that face. I've been there.

- Tiny dropbear rides Canadian Vampire John into town before Canadian Vampire John falls face first into the dirt and lays there. I'm not sure I've ever been so bewildered in my life.

- Having a moment of "Really, Ms. Highlander Vampire? We are going to go into a 'wait, how do you know this weird thing'? Or are you just going to roll with it and trust that there are weird things in this world and let me get on with my debrief." with Walker.

- "EZEKIAAAAAAAAAAAAL" Smokebomb. Yeah. You better run.

- The Parsons Place mod. There were so many things I loved about this. The setup was abjectly terrifying. The Baseball Mechanic was so cool. We knew it was going to be scary and super dangerous and it was. Parsons was terrifyingly polite as ever. Malcolm's Rage Quit. I'm still laughing about it, honestly. Taking the full five minutes on the ground to get my Damaged Heal 3 to self off. Trying to buy time against the PurpleEyedJakeBeast but knowing it was futile. Being sent through by JD and grabbed by Dust, who started to drag me off into the night, crawling along on a broken leg, rather than leave me in that hell hole.

-Long hard talks after that about worst case scenarios. Bonding between Alice and Hana.

-Lastly, basically everything psychic. Just how long it took Alice to realize they were set up. The chaos. The crying. The anger. "By my voice, Refresh Fire by Rage."

-First fight on Friday. Sucked me right into the game. I might not have participated, but dang, the thrill that went through me when Adam was dropped, then the backpedaling terror as he got up and swung his bat at people screaming DEATH DEATH DEATH! I knew there was a reason he was on my favorite NPC list...

-The Long Hike 2: I can't tell you how many times I almost grabbed the key and just ran for my life. It was one of the three things going through my head the whole time. BUT WE MADE IT! Being prepared for it definitely helped, and I'm super happy that people were much more into it this time around.

-Lots of RP.

-The knowledge that I can finally translate my book!

-Translating another book!

-I GOT TO FIX THE WELL! So happy! (Sniff)

-'My name is William StFrancis, but my momma calls me Billy.' Omg I died laughing.

-'GARY TO YOUR RIGHT!' BLOCK! (I gotta start sparring to get my Book Fu up to snuff)

-Watching Jackal bat a thrown spell out of the air.
