Kelsey is kneeling over a bloodied Mike Strife, desperately trying to save his life. At some noise she looks up, and the camera pans out, revealing the shapes of the Darkened in the moonlight all around her. She sees Adam Campbell raise his weapon over the fallen form of Henry Gondorf, about to strike a killing blow.

Cut to a sunny day outside the diner. Alex Herne is leaning against a tree, regarding Kelsey.

Alex: "Tell me, why is it that you are here? What drives you to continue helping people, especially in Whisper Hill, of all the crazy, fucked up places in the world?"

Kelsey: "...Because this is where you are. Not you, personally, but...all of us."

Cut back to the fight. Adam brings his weapon down in a deadly strike, only to be intercepted at the last second by Kelsey's bat. The medic's knuckles are white around the handle.

Kelsey (voiceover): "People worth fighting for."

Since everybody knows my Scene has something to do with the Butcher, I offer up what would HYPE me up first- seeing as many From Away folks flashing into the various BRUMMMMS that movie trailers have to have these days (...and some sweet Sally & the Butcher action at the end).

"Naow, leme tell ya 'bout Whisper Hill," Sally says, leaning in towards the camera with a beer in hand.

Cut to:

Amarok's howl and the Beta Wolf stepping out from the trees as Lou and JD scramble backwards.
Gus fire-axing a darkened as Maxwell Nail-guns another, and Ed throws a hammer, while Lou tries to barricade the Hardware Store's door.
Levi, Leo, and Professor Challenger circling around a Reaper at the Well of the Bones.

Sally's voice: "Never, ever, go out 'lone after dark. Ya want five 'r six folks with ya, at the least."

Cut to:
Sally's voice: "A gun, a knife, a golldarn baseball bat or a honest-to-God sword. Carry you a side arm at allll times."

Eden drawing her baton and cracking it down over the Giant Super Thek's head.
Billy pulling out Father Hand Cannon to obliterate one a rabid wolf on Main Street.
Dust slinging his rifle over his back, and stepping forward with his katana at the ready and his eyes low when the Amertume folk charge in.
Wild Fey cackling and slashing out along Main Street- Alice pulls her pipe and bat out from her coat.
Vacily and Liberty both drawing knives from out of nowhere and springing to action.

Cut to:
"An' don't chu never, ever so much as leave yer bed without a light on ya."

Kelsey raising her Lantern.
Ariel's fingers sparking with fire.
Amelia holding up one of Sally's own pink glowsticks.

Darkened all around swarming in.

Cut back to Sally, leaning towards the camera, kicking back the last of his beer:

"Oh, yeah shit, my bad, an I should prolly warn ya-"

Cut to:

Chloe lunging forward, her hood flying back to reveal Catface!
Hartighan swirling around, his trenchcoat and scarf whipping way as his claws shoot out as he jumps through the snow at a Amertume gasper with a shotgun.
Herne snarling forth his Dragonface and claws as he burst from the door to pounce on TALON's proteans.
Corvus sitting up from a chest full of bullets.
Victor in full Fey regalia flouncing about the AAA with her Spear.

Sally's voice: "Don't stare at folks like some sorta mouth-breathin' hillbilly fresh outta the Holler."

Sally shrugs as the scene returns to him. "I mean, this place ain't so bad, when you think 'bout it. Good folks all around."

Lou walks by, "Yeah, unless you've got to get some fuel out of the pump..."

A wide-eyed Sally gives a big, dumb nod, "OH, yeah! An' don't fuck with the Penance. Tha's just straight stupid!"

Cut to the Field next to the Diesel pump. Mason, unbound with skeletal arm and Hellsword, hacking away at the Butcher to no avail, then knocked aside. When the Butcher starts to step forward towards Lou and Marner, Sally's voice calls from behind him,

"Hey there, Big Fella!"

The Penance turns around to a wild-eyed and grinning Sally, who has both hands up to fight. The Penance's blades come into view, and Sally smiles wider, and draws his woefully inadequate KA-BAR knife and waves him on.

"C'mon now, don't be shy!"

I can see Lou making the 'artistic' sun dance trailer with a black and white shot of him pumping gas in the snow. The terrible battle that the majority of the town is having with penance is never shown on screen but is clearly heard in all it's gory detail. The camera just focus's on the handyman's panicked face and barely audible over the sounds of pitch battle and inhuman screaming is Lou talking to himself to keep calm.

While Michael isn't really the type (at least in my mind) to deserve a cinematic trailer, I could see the following being appropriate to him:

Michael stands in the bell tower, frowning and looking down at the field behind the diner.

Cut to a snow covered field in darkness, occasional muzzle flashes and a spotlight from a helicopter illuminating small knots of fighters locked in mortal combat. Briefly centered in the spotlight, Michael is gunned down by someone in the direction he was running toward. As he falls down in the snow, the screen goes black.

Voices scream in terror as gunshots ring out all around - Michael's ragged breathing is barely heard over the sound of his boots hitting the ground as he runs. The bouncing light of his flashlight illuminates a small cage with a woman trapped inside. When he reaches the cage, she begs Michael to get her out of there, tears streaming down her face. After a few moments of him fiddling with it, the lock falls off the cage and Michael helps the woman out, pointing off screen and telling her to get moving. He begins to follow her but then hears a voice call for help behind him and turns around, a look of determination mixed with fear on his face. He takes two steps before shots ring out and he falls over, a pool of blood slowly spreading away from his body. The camera zooms in on the blood until it is all that can be seen, at which point it slowly turns black.

Malignant whispers echo all around, barely discernable over the sound of Michael saying 'No', over and over again. At first the screen is black, but then whiteness intrudes on the borders of either side as the camera zooms out. Soon, Michael's face can be seen with tears of darkness running out of his blankly staring eyes. After a few moments, his mouth opens and he begins to scream and the screen goes black.

Cut again to Michael in the bell tower. He shakes his head and then turns away from the view with a troubled look on his face. As he begins to descend the ladder, the screen fades to black and the sound of whispering voices can be heard for a few seconds before they too fade away.
