Research for Inter-Session 8 to 9

Just a question regarding Research for post Event 8.

Specifically, when are our Research Questions due? Do you want them by the due date for the PEL, December 6 2015? Or will there be a later Research deadline pending the new Research submission process?

We would like Research and PELs by the same due date (Sunday, 12/6). I'm not sure what your question is regarding the new Research system, as that was in place effective for questions answered at CS7 and CS8. The notice about it is here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=567

You might be asking about "the separate form" we mentioned. Deeg has still not had time to do that piece, so Research should be entered in the field on the PEL as usual. (Hopefully, he'll have time to rig that up over the winter, in time for CS9's Research.) However, we will always be asking for PELs and Research due on the same date for the sake of our sanity.
