Hmmm, I've been thinking of getting a short boffer police baton; I'd be up for something like that.
Also while we're on weapon building, are there any further guidelines on thrown weapons? In the rulebook I haven't seen specific restrictions on open vs. camp pad foam (apart from 2 inches on the tip), duct tap vs. gorilla tape, and shape. Since I need to retool my stock, I'd appreciate a little more clarity on what materials I can work with, especially since I saw these

in use at 5th gate (which would seem to violate all of the above...)

The big things are that they not be too heavy and that they not fit in eye sockets...
