Weapon Building Assistance

I'm pretty terrible at building weapon-style props; can anyone assist by doing the actual labor/construction? I can buy the materials you tell me, and I wouldn't need it until November, but it's a small syringe for that one doc skill, and then I need a broom.

Sadly, I don't think I can do the syringe or broom justice with my current schedule, but I do have materials to grab since I tend to buy them in bulk.

On that note... I am ramping up to make a big order of .505 Fiberglass cores, the one-handed standard. If anyone else is looking to build weapons and needs materials, I'll have them on hand to buy for cost (should be around $7-8).

Sean- I'd be down for up to an even 10 if you can pad your order for that (or are willing to part with 'em!) And, by god, if you ever come across any more .750, I'll gobble that lovely stuff up.


Janna- I ain't one of the great foamsmiths of the globe, but I've now done enough of 'em to do from daggers to 2-handers with passable passable-ness if you're game. We've (Me, Vex, and Eric) done spatulas, axes, and hammers, so a broom should be simple enough! (Testing out a Fishing Pole this weekend...)

I speak from experience when I say that Sean makes a kick-ass baseball bat (Victor uses it at OR as her 1-hander, and it's currently my club for 5th Gate and my End of the World Bat for Lovecraft Legacies), but if he's booked through the fall (as it sounds above), you're more than welcome to have one of my spares in the meanwhile.


Which reminds me, we should do another couple Summer OR Practices in Camberville!
