Occam's Razor ruins normal life

Occam's Razor ruins normal life

And now the forum where we recount how our paranoia in this game bleeds over into regular life!

Or maybe it's just me... 8-)

Anyhow, ya'll ruined this song for me: it's now INCREDIBLY creepy in OR context.

The day after the last OR event, I was chilling out with my roommate when there was an unexpected sound from outside. I reflexively started looking for my medkit so I could run out and help before I realized a) I wasn't in Whisper Hill and b) it was only my cat.

So I work with behaviorally challenged youth and one of the kiddo's decided to come charging at me the Monday morning after the event... sometimes it takes a lot of willpower to remember that real danger is not going to be averted with a "Repel" call and a packet. Although some day I would really like to try it out.

I love me a good brainteaser or logic puzzle. I enjoy that feeling of insight dawning on me. However I do know that I can be obsessive at times. Sometimes a puzzle comes along that makes me pull out all the stops to figure out. After a while of no progress I feel the puzzle is mocking me. That it is confusing me. That it and its kind have some manner of metaphysical linkage that allows them to rewrite themselves so NO SOLUTION FITS when you go back to check. The day I am found wandering the streets with a note book in one hand and broken piece of chalk in the other is soon coming.

(Cliffnotes: Thank you Staff for giving OR its own take on Galli-flipping-freyan)

*Sorry about the edit. Seemed funnier this morning now it strikes me as a bit too pointed.*
People come to me looking for the truth as it suits them. They look for a happy ending to their troubles. Too bad for them. I don't do happy. As to putting an end to things, The Truth often does a fine job with out me.

Yeah, I have to agree. One of the first things I did was look up Gallifreyan, hoping it might give some insight......Gah.
