-Henry getting to know the more closed off PC’s better and, as a result, got his good look at this dream clock everyone is talking about. The resulting metaphysical discussion after only got better as folks stopped in to help flesh out matters. Thanks for helping make the Universal String Theory of Whisper Hills possible. Thank you Gil, Mike Strife, and Professor Tesla for their contributions and Liberty for nodding along as a gumshoe went wild with the red string and tin foil.

-That feeling that comes from enjoying a seat in a chair with a back only to hear “We got bugs!” coming from outside. And realizing only too late they were not talking about those wonderful moths we all know and love.

-Speaking of those moths, how about that time when Henry thought it a great idea to stall a few moths in the hope that a line of meaningful communication would open up. I never thought I would be that guy in a horror movie who screws his eyes shut as the monster nears only to open them up to find himself standing there like a fool.

- And furthermore: “Hey Henry. You put on some weight, there? Got bit of a spare tire going there.”

-As I hand over Larissa’s larva at MC – Deeg “Again?” That is all.

-On the way to help clear out some bugs from a shed Davenport explains what happened with the gas powered water boarding. Either V or Nessa asks if he cleared the last of it from his system. Of course Henry has an answer “That’s easy to tell. Just hold up a match when he talks.” To which Davenport demonstrates his own breathalyzer test. He blew double the “Fuck you, Gondorf.” Limit.

-Those times when Henry is dragged away. It doesn’t seem to matter what does the dragging. It simply always end so badly.

-That moment when Henry realized the devil has come for his due on behalf of the typist. When he heard about how even the simplest of stories is going the route of The Monkey’s Paw, the hit to the stomach when he realized how and why someone was about to die took the jelly out of his doughnut.

-Meeting Norah and speaking with her. After a while looking for help when realization descended on how out of my depth I was at that moment. Oh what a relief that came along when Liberty and Alice came over to take the reins. Meanwhile all that ran through his head is be nice, be calm, don’t get brain melted.

-Gondorf messenger services: Helping you meet your fated hour a little sooner.

-Skirmishing like I had some skill once again. Also, on a strange note, how this ever happened thank you to this game. For the longest time my left achelles was tight enough to be spring loaded. Now it’s been mercifully released.

-Playing at antiques road show and coming away with a nice blast from the past. I can hardly contain the joy of crossing wits with my favorite librarian.

-Logic puzzles. I don’t know if they worked out but damn it all I felt good when my logic made sense to others.

-Discovering that I shall never underestimate Jake when it comes to nerf dart exchanges.

-And the marvelous take away conversation points from certain individuals. The highlights include: Nick Sleet showing that it is true that all secret agents are more than capable of carrying a tune, Prof Tesla recommendations for Hollywood monsters after the camera stops, discovering the mad genius that is Leslie (he is not the lightening rod that we want. He is the lightening rod that we deserve) and of course the hilarity that was the trench coat party.

-And last but far from least the sudden heavy ramp up in doom vibes Henry got when he delved deeper in whatever lore players offered to him. Thank you Liberty, St. Francis, Prof Tesla, John Henry, Gil, and the many folks who offered their wisdom to the din of Diner.

-And I would be remiss not bringing up the heroic efforts of one Red Raver as she stitch me back together. With a pen. After trying cut out a possible parasite within. Using that same pen. But not before knocking me out with her broom handle. Doctors Fell, Fine, and Fell would be proud.

If I missed something well…a gumshoe has to leave himself some blackmail material behind closed doors.

Jake-Thek in the corner, spitting acid like it ain't no thing. I charge in and take him down. Another Thek knocks me down from behind. After a few minutes of corpse-banter, Jake-Thek starts clicking. He stands up and pokes me with his claw "... Taaaste." Oh no. "I pick you up." He carries me out the door. All I could say was "I Deserve This, Don't I?"

"You have no idea." (LE Throwback FTW!)

Oh, Bug-Leslie. We're gonna miss you. At least, I'm gonna miss you. Who else can obsess over covering people in be- owait.

The ever looming, yet friendly, moral compass of Amelia.

The ever looming, yet unfriendly, moral compass of Corvus

"So, Beatrice... Where have you been?"
"Visiting the mistress. In Canada."
"I see. Is she ever com-"
"Canada."
"Yes, but..."
"CANADA."

I missed you, Beatrice.

Bob's finale was intense.

Talking with Victor about her new position in the courts.

Billy you genocidal maniac I love you please don't hurt me.

Driving a certain handful of people crazy, as usual. With some new additions! You all know who you are.

Watching Sally turn someone into dust that one time.

I WANT ROSIE KENNIGAN TO BE MY GRANDMA. WE'RE GOING TO BAKE COOKIES TOGETHER AND SHE'S GOING TO TUCK ME IN AT NIGHT AND KNIT ME THE BEST PAIR OF SOCKS A MAN COULD ASK FOR.

Gadget, you're adorable. "You mean the smelly stuff?" It was the innocence I laughed at, not the fart joke.

Researching the lore this game is based off of, after game. There's layers upon layers of stuff going on here. Every time I think I've figured something out, a new crackpot theory emerges. Either way, can't wait for Halloween.

More stuff to come. Eventually. Maybe. If I'm not too busy.

"We should just take the type writer, encase it in concrete and sink it to the bottom of the lake."

"I don't know of any problems that can be solved with encasing them in concrete and dropping them to the bottom of the lake."

"What are you talking about... Jimmy hoffa was solved that way."

"I stand corrected."

This weekend was amazing, the weather was great, the fights were rough and the cake (Thank you Treska) was amazing. A great way to spend my birthday.

That ghost writer mod is the best, it's stuff like that that got me interested in this game, I was not let down.

I'm sooooo pumped Lou finally got a job at the paper mill, let's see how long that lasts.

All the fights were great. This game is violence approved.

"Y'all picked the wrong cabin..."

Dallas falling out a tree was pretty great.

Sally... just Sally.

Getting a bird feed back from the 'squirrels' and also finding a lap top was good.

Raving is a weird thing to do as a red neck, just saying.

Making fun of magic nerds in game, while peering over their shoulders to watch the game and give advice out of game was fun.

Getting rick rolled in the system was classic.

Elevator fun time, dig that elevator music!

I could just keep going on... I should stop.

Just so you all know, The Professor has no memories of this last event...

That being said, he did find a pile of Manuscripts that Sally and JD claimed to have donated and a sheaf of chalk rubbings with strange alien symbols on them
I have already translated and posted the first 2 books. They are on the IG forum under "The Professor's Notebook", More on the way as I find the time to get them done.
I will post the Chalk rubbing symbols on my Facebook page, so anyone can get a copy and work on them. (I can't post them here on the forums, each page is too big to upload here) Just get all notes back to me if you make a breakthrough. I'll be working on them too over the summer.

Also with the manuscripts was a notebook full of scribbled notes. I'll post the interesting ones here

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We need to get Lou a Silver level Health plan.....so we can chop off his hand

Never, ever forget to bring folding chairs. No back stools kill my back

The Cake is a Pie

Offering the Antiquarian every credit I had, hoping to bargain the dealer down to a number that I could borrow the rest from friends that offered to help and finding out I could afford ALL of them by myself with a few credits left over *YES* fist pump

Standing at the top of the elevator and watching bodies being brought back up. Finally getting the balls up to take my defenseless self down there to see if the group needed rescuing....and hearing "Hey, we could have used you down here a little bit go. We needed a Professor."
Heading back up, with a shrug

LARPing can be very different with a soundtrack. * puts the earbuds back in*
My Own Hell / Five Finger Death Punch

After his rant about missing someone
Lou, can I lick you?

Wandering past 2 shadowy figures on the way back to your cabin and hearing Amorok call "expose irradiated" and just walking on calmly and quietly

Jumping in front and protecting Sally from the Ghost Writer's version of the Butcher. Come on, how often does someone get to protect Sally? It's usually the other way around.
Then dropping The Butcher in one well aimed shot........Dude!

Favorites are always hard. In no order at all...

Sally's reaction to his pin. The "oh god that's horrible!" awkward gratefulness was delightful. I'm so glad you liked it.

The writer mod. The whole thing is amazing. Hearing in the morning that two of my cabin mates were awoken by the horror and quietly took sanity drains in their beds. Priceless.

Giving the dusk king the death glare. Something to scratch off Hana's bucket list.

Beatrice. What glorious conversation.

Hana-"I think Billy's pretty capable"
Lou-"Do you now"
Hana-"Oh Lou, I don't play with toys."

Growling to chase Anarok's wolves away from Levy's body. Psyching NPCs in combat in general.

"Jimmy Hoffa"

Leslie.

Cake.

Fighting Cat.

Gadget! The sweetest member of Muridae Sapius! Here's hoping for a Utopia based cheese and knitting coop! I want mittens and brie!

Victor's ennoblement. They grow up so fast!

Leslie-"Sing me a song Vasily"
Vasily-"Agony by warping"
Leslie-"WHY!?"

First Nations meet and greet.

The thought of the black ops scout troop that would result from Victor and Mr. Henry acting as scout leaders.

Realizing I actually like fighting with two weapons, something I have been resisting for a long time now.

If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night
Calling out for the rope, sent by and we will
Watch the flames burn on and on the mountain side hey
