Oh right. And that conversation wherein it was suggested that Demons should try stealing human children and replacing then with demon children from Hell to see if one could make the demonic equivalent of Changelings. I don't think Alice has ever been so overtly horrified by a conversation in her life.
If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night
Calling out for the rope, sent by and we will
Watch the flames burn on and on the mountain side hey

: You see, Maxwell, when a boy squirrel gets bored he starts playing with his nuts
- Because he's hungry and wants to eat them?
: Yes, Maxwell, that's exactly what he wants to do
:D

Now imagine two completely deadpan people having this conversation.

This was a very mundane event for me, and I liked it. It was full of normal stuff!

BEING SOBER FOR AN ENTIRE WEEKEND. (Sane!)Vacily had all the power in the world for 5 minutes, so thanks bro. The Reverend's continued counseling. Even after the Fomoroian fucked up my day ferociously (see below), having a whole group of people trying to calm me down and let me know that, No, Sally, you're not going to Federal Prison.

The Briefing for the TALON fight. Watching Mason the Marine come out. People pulling down ski masks.
Nick and Bob at the barriers, and ALL THE GUNS pointing between them. Vacily taking a hostage. The looks on rifle-bearing-NPCs faces when I maim their arms and they realizes they are now unable to do anything. GET TO ZE CHOPPA.

My brief meeting with Nole & Kelsey surrounding the "Sailor Moony" item- we need some goddamn Good Items, damn it!

The Fireside Chat about how EVERY DECISION IN WHISPER HILL IS THE WRONG DECISION.

"Mr. TaLour" from "Freedom Reciprocal Insurance" offering me a hiring assessment. You beautiful motherfuckers, you. ... but now I have to go back to that life...

Oh, and that very much not "are you willing to kill for money?" survey XD

Mr. Slade needing help with his contractors. Watching the Big Thing Choke-slam people by Strength.
Ezra's subtle body-only RP when we wanted to look at his face. To anyone that was nearby while Sally and Corvus repeatedly failed our Deathstrike attempts, I'm sure you saw the fucking terror on the faces of the Viking and the Marine.

"I need four soldiers." Flares. Tracer Rounds. The CHOPPA. Even though the cold fucked up the props, we all ran with it and were in the goddamn trenches. Vacily and Phil with RPGs. Mr. Henry asking "is there any way to launch me at [the helicopter]"

FINALLY GETTING TO USE THAT DAMN DEMON SHACKLE. I've had that thing since Adventure Day 1, and seeing it put to good use made me happy.

THE DEMON HUNTER/WIZARD POWER TEAM. We were ready for The Worst, out there on Main Street.

The sheer eagerness on Madrigus's face when I came to the Gambling Den to tap him. He was literally bouncing.

COOPERATIVE SPELL LIGHT BEAM ATTACK. There were five of you, right? Shall I ordered the colored skirts and tiaras from Etsy now, or.... I mean I've got the light up wands and brooches already...

Cold Iron Mining. I apologize to anyone on Run 4 with me that had to listen to Sally Lautner's mad, lunatic ravings about "Mineral Rights" and Kentucky Coal Miner problems. Kelsey Graham I <3 you so much. "Who wants a turn at the pick-ax?" ::sees Sally Prepare to Froth at the Mouth:: "Anyone, anyone else?"

DO NOT TAUNT THE FOMORIAN. I left that mine double-maimed, wasted of all sanity, drained, weakness'd, and at 1 vitality. I was freaking out about "Federal Agents" and the assortment of crimes a Young Sally Lautner had done before getting sent to the Marines. And reaaaaaaly needed a drink. Fellow PCs, you are incredible.

After chatting with Rabbi Solowitz, coming across JD leading a "CHUDS! CHUDS! CHUDS!" chant. Monty Eating one. Don't do that.

Brett was about to get circled by 3 new CHUDs, and walking up to them with Mike Strife. Mike just hoisted his Sniper Rifle, obliterated one and says, "I guess the .50 cal works, huh?" and shrugs before turning to the next. Like. A. Boss.

Brett McKinnon, an Enlisted Man, thru and thru. A disgusting, disgusting enlisted man.

Cethlinn coming to the diner (after she and her guards smacked the shit out of us). Allie Danskin being a raving fucking loon as one of the guards. Cethlinn's demeanor. She was so non-chalant and horrifying. "Oh, love, I'm going to bathe in your blood."

Violent Ghost Sex. Receding hairlines being caused by headbands. The realization that Sober Sally is MORE ridiculous, not less.

The 3 AM in the AAA conversation that followed that.

Leo offhandedly telling me "I put you down as my Best Friend for the Dusk Fey Championship."

The look on Madrigus's face of sheer "I have no idea what you're talking about" when I attempted his voice.

The Gambling Den. Leo's subtle performance as the dealer.

"Is there Sir in White?"
"SHUT UP SALLY!"

Walking out of the bathroom to the Typewriter Murder. It was appropriately haunting and eerie.

The lights dropping at 3:30 in the morning and EVERYONE BEING AWESOME. The entire AAA Was up, heavy-gunned and at the doors, ready for the incursion, all in like 2.1 seconds.

The joy H.A. gets out of wasting all my sanity.

GUARD DUTY. That entire mod was so ... boringly awesome? Vacily and Phil being the upstanding employees. Kelsey's quick dismissal of the shady character by Wit.

Billy's matter-of-fact "This is what the Butcher wants with you"

Father Ashmore answer about abortion doctors.

Mike Stryfe's repeated, "WE TOOK DOWN A HELICOPTER."

Pandora. Pandora's bed.

Hana Sova's lust for Cethlenn's blood in the final battle.

"Let's Teach Dr. Rue to Fight." Mary Kiley is better with one boffer than I am with 2, hands down, so "Sally" teaching "Rue" how to fight was all RP around actual fighting, rather than boffing. The "normal shit" in this game was just so great.

Levi trying to fist fight with Sally (likewise, Mike OJ is a dueling boss). His offers of cake.

"STABBED WITH AN OWL." Reading Rainbow: Whisper Hill.

Catching a fistful of Billy's tobacco and getting to breathe in that smell with him before the Mason ritual. My little Native heart sang at that.

COLD-IRON PUNCHING CETHLINN IN THE FACE. Corvus's Blood Eagle.

Oh, that time a Crow cured my maim by banging me into a tree repeatedly. "Cure Maim by Tree" might be my second favorite call I've heard in this game.

I forgot all about pulling off the Bermuda Triangle on a CHUD! For the uninitiated this is when you get your 3 skirmishers in a perfect triangle around the crunch and promptly beat them with sticks

This was a surprisingly emotionally rough session for Billy St. Francis, and thank you all for making it fun for me, his player.

Special thanks go to Brett, Leslie, JD, Ness, and anyone else who has recently taken to trying to explain to Billy that no, you're not a cyborg, and no, you're not a human. It is a rough battle, but it is appreciated.

So, for favorite moments:

- Seeing Madrigus dressed in a normal fashion! "He looks like he stepped out of the '70's." "Better than the 700's."
- Waking up from the By Voice healing in the Cold Iron Mine mod to have the back of the enemy line to me and a full rifle in my hands.
- Everyone stopping me throughout Saturday to update me with new information and acquire relevant information to their interests. Billy St. Francis, Whisper HIll's very own data warehouse of weird stuff.
- Interacting with the far more sane Vasily and Alice.
- "Hey, JD. You know how you have that Wendigo problem? Good thing you came up with this brilliant idea to fix it! Otherwise, Sheriff Winters and Mr. Marner were going to shoot you dead!" "Uh... what brilliant idea, Billy?" "This brilliant idea! <Insert insane solution here that could never work but sounded convincing>" "I hope that works." "Me too."
- Brett and Eden freaking out over their records of dealing with the Keewakw changing on them.
- The death glare of Henry Gondorf as he was thrown under the survey bus. Totally worth it.
- "Seriously... we have a taser, a suspect with a sword, and a guy with a iPhone camera. This is a YouTube sensation video waiting to happen."
- Meeting Mr. Saturday face to... face.
- "We got back up." "Are you sure it's going to be enough?" *JD glances towards where a nearby... weapons specialist with a new toy waits* "Oh yeah."

Shout outs to Special Agent O'Brien for diving into the strange waters of Whisper Hill head first, Sally for his continued awesome, and to all the usual madness of OR. I missed you guys. Can't wait for next session.
