"Either way, this whole situation blows. I don't quite like using 'leverage' to describe what we need, but the term is indeed adequate. In the meantime, I need answers. I don't know why, but there are a few of us who they fey pay special attention to; including those of us who have been conscripted. I have a few ideas, but none I want to say out loud because the very thought makes me feel delusional... Either way, I've decided to continue playing their game."
Leslie passes a long, hard look around the table. He glances around the room, checking for fae. He realizes that's a stupid idea, considering fey glamour, and says what he was going to say anyway. Quietly, though.
"Which means that, until something is figured out, myself and anyone else who does the same would need to trust someone to make sure the cycle of seasons goes on just the same, even despite us."
