I felt a weight lift from my shoulders as my cell phone signal crept back to acceptable level. A sense of dread I hadn't noticed was dissipating.

I may be more than a little glad that I don't have a 9 AM conference call to lead, like I did the Monday after last event. 'Cause last time 'round, the poor bastards at Liberty Mutual Insurance got their meeting moderated by a hoarse southern drawl that couldn't quite manage to add any '-gs' to the end of required words...

I walked home and realized there'd be no potential monsters waiting in my house (except maybe my wife) and that I didn't need to ward the door.

I scarfed down dinner expecting an attack and didn't realize that's what I did till hours later.

Doing Madrigus' voice ruins my throat a bit, so I was forced to talk like him for hours later.

Sally wins with the conference call though. That's bomb.

I find myself hesistating when I go to touch metal things (door knobs especially), including my nerf gun and scissors.

Going out to the car and hearing a rustle in the bushes and thinking it was some horrible monster.

when i get home and i find my self trying to put extra food in my pockets and then relise i am infact notb homless and i do not need to store food in random places for later.

Trying to insert the articles of speaking in right places. It is hard thing after weekend not doing this.

Seriously, it is bad enough to have an accent, but adopting bad grammar is a terrible curse. I have become the students I used to teach.

Beginning with the basics, recalling that sometimes children screaming is their way of showing extreme happiness.

The next obvious step is heading into the school I am called to only to startle myself when I realize I forgot my weapon props and never thought to bring back up.

Let us end with after spending about 48 hours on high alert, I caught more children red handed than preschool art teacher. By the way: they may have begun wondering if I have ESP or some such.

I qualify how good a game is by how long I take before the care is fully unpacked of The Professor's stuff. Currently 1/4 unpacked.

Things that linger after the event
- Reaching for a cane that I really don't need
- My jaw hurting a bit from clenching that pipe
- Checking my pocket to make sure I have a spell packet handy
