Shotguns, Magic Items, and You

I was perusing a few different rules around the same time when I came up with an idea that needed a few clarifications.

Speilwerk allows you to make items that can be delivered by dart (or disk or packet but hereafter only referred to as "dart") for a really high multiplier. Obviously this allows you to load your Nightfinder with a tastytasty 6 damage by [blah], but you could even pop in a Heal for some awkward healing (it's a tranq!).

Now, it seems like you could also load a shotgun with 2 separate items (so two 4 damages, or even a 6 damage and a Slam). You can do that right?

Assuming you can load shotguns with items, what if you load one half of the shot with one item, but not another? Would you spend F to shoot your one item and a single 2 damage? (So: Agony by [blah], 2 damage) Is that possible?

I'm also assuming that somebody thought of this ahead of time, which is why Shotgun is a discouraged weapon style for Hexenmeisters.

I'd really recommend using the same ammo in both barrels, such is not required. See the rulebook on page 154. Where it talks about shotguns. And different kinds of ammo.

I'm not seeing things on different ammo on pages 152-154 except the differences between darts and disks.

Ok, so loading a shotgun with a magic bullet would be something like "Slam by [trait], 2 damage" or "6 damage by [trait] 2 damage", but you can't load it with 2 magic bullets. One will always come out normal and will cause you to spend a F to fire anyway.

Do I have that right?
