How modern are we?

I can just tell you guys now, this game takes place in the woods like the for real woods. With like wild animals, things like flashlights can warn wild animals that your coming and lets them beat feet so you don't surprise them.

Not only do flashlights work, they're highly encouraged for your safety!

A question came up at the event: Can we take pictures of in-game documents as back ups in case said documents are stolen? I used my hacker terminal to take pics of the reactor plans in case someone stole them before we solved the math puzzle. Later, as predicted, the plans disappeared (they turned up eventually). None of us were sure if my copies were actually valid / allowed, so we didn't use them. Can someone from staff weigh in on this?

Off the cuff and before jury deliberations are out: "Probably not" is the answer, as we make people jump through hoops to use cameras in general and this wouldn't be any different for any reason I can see. We tend to have people "develop" the photos between games by submitting them to our illustrious illustrators and such...

I'm going to add to this and ask if the no-cell phones also applies to those using them as a "terminal"? Might be a silly question, but I'm asking anyway.

If you're using it as a terminal you can use it as a terminal--you just can't use it as a phone.

If you want to effectively listen to music OOG, that's fine. For fluff purposes, your character would probably have some serious issues getting that to work.
