Fixer is 7 CP? Hmmm... I wonder why. Also, I think 72 CP might be a little high for a starting character... but it looks good none the less ;). I think I might get Fixer to start with and then spend CP to get Gunslinger as the character grows.

Hold on, Thousand Yard Stare costs 4, not 5, and if you're human you get the first header free. Now you're at 66 CP spent :D

Damn, I completely missed the Header/Specilaization cost at the top of the descriptions. I assumed headers/specializations would have a standard cost under General Rules.
That let's me do more adding up for my character concept.
45 CP. If I drop One language and learn it later or pass up some research skills, I can make it in under the 20+20 CP starting amount
Of course, that doesn't take into account Race, General skills and qualities.
And 40 CP or so in "I'd like to have" headers/specializations/skills

The starting limit is really making my build tight. Granted I'm used to the 150 point luxury liner characters from Mirror Mirror. It will be nice to get back to the characters where every point counts.

You really do have to watch where each point goes. A 4 CP skill takes a tenth of what you start with, so you have to choose carefully.

What's interesting to me is that none of the skills have a prerequisite other than the header. I'm used to games where you need to buy a few skills to get the good ones.

There are three skills that I can think of that have prerequisites for the Advanced skill.
Read Gimoire, Use magical item and Computer Use.
But You're right. Hardly any needed to get to some of the more powerful combat skills.
I think it's because the powerful ones have their own limitations built into the skills.
("Once per session", "Short root to self", Long reload time, etc)

Starting points of 20+20, but you can receive up to 10 CP per year for donations or through NPC exchanges. I wonder when you could get the Donation CP's. The game will need quite a bit of supplies and work to get set up.
