Questions about the Quarantine Zone

Just for purposes of the Quarantine Zone forum, as well as the Holiday Party event, how much time passes in the Quarantine Zone? I assume that we are going to be there for at least from September 2nd through January 11th, ICly. I ask mostly for two concerns.

One, would it be alright to start a scene two weeks into Quarantine?

Two, how is this going to impact characters with the 9 to 5 Complication, or other things indicating financial obligations / limits? Will apartments be lost, possessions sold, etc? Does legal paperwork, such as divorce agreements or court summons, make it into the Quarantine? Can they make it out of the Quarantine with due government scrutiny? While access to computers and the internet is all some might take to continue their jobs and obligations, others might not have that opportunity.

Assume for the sake of simplicity that time passes at the normal rate. You guys are stuck where you are until you move into Whisper Hill proper in April. That said, assume that Deputy Director White pulls some strings and the entire situation is treated something like jury duty or military service--employers and such can't hold it against you.

I have a question about the Quarantine mostly related to what of out things were searched/taken from us. A number of us were relatively heavily armed after all. Should we expect to have had our more dangerous items/strange items confiscated? Or can we safely assume that we have all our belongings (minus a car)?

In particular, Gil had a stack of polyurethane practice swords (the western martial arts equivalent of the bokken) that he would need to set up a training school plus his two blunted fencing claymores. If he still has them, I was going to add a section to the IG forums called "out on the lawn." But I thought I should likely check in about that first.

Gil could certainly have boffer weapons. Gil likely had anything that could be used to clock a guard put into a locked cabinet in plain sight to the guards in the towers (it was that or have your dangerous stuff be flat out taken. The Fed tried to make a compromise).

Sounds good to me. I assume we can still get deliveries of packages provided they are inspected first? Ie, do I have Gil order supplies or assume I had a stack in my things?
