Archetypes

[Corvus]

[quote]That is unfortunate. I had been hoping to play an Academic-type character because I remember how much fun they had at LE, reading all those languages, deciphering old scripts, speaking to funny people, going on Academic-only mods. Oh well.[/quote]

I for one am happy about this distinction. The less like Dr. Adams my new character is the better! This would be one of the reasons why I [i]am[/i] hell bent on not getting hexenmeister.

[Madrigus]

Jacob: I'll actually be taking both Wizard and Hexenmeister, plus Demonologist for fluff stuff and background choices, but more than likely will not progress further than the base. I'm pretty sure i don't need demon hunter or exorcist.

[Jacob]

Ladies and gentlemen I give you: Madrigus the Fanciest of Pants!

Sounds good to me, man. Just remember to save some CP for stats.

[Steve]

Stats? who needs stats? Just buy a bunch of headers and research skills. Then you'll have ALL the knowledge!

That's more or less what I'm doing with my Cottington Woods PC. Know all the things, indeed.

[Steve]

It's a viable build... so long as you can avoid the terrible things that want to kill you.

[Eden Jones]

True, but if your fellow PCs want to know all the lovely, useful things you've learned, they had darn well better keep your clever butt alive

[Steve]

It's a good trade. I'll tell you how to survive the inevitable horror that's comming, and in return you'll protect me from the inevitable horror that's comming.

[Madrigus]

I shall wear my Fancy Pants with pride then!

And save up for stats. And dump ingame resources into research.

Deal!
