I can't find the website for Amazon or how to sign up

Amizon is integrated with the CDB. You'll have an account on it simply by having a forum account, which you clearly do.

There will be a terminal for accessing Amizon at the event.

Is it possible to access Amizon outside of an event? I have some loot tags I want to turn in (since i am prone to losing) things if possible.

If its coming or not possible, that's completely understandable!

Totally possible.
I've heard reports of the scanning not working for some people, but I'm dealing with that on a case-by-case.

I've added a link on the CDB homepage that will take you to your Amizon homepage.
From there, everything is identical to the terminal at the game, except for needing to worry about logging out before you walk away.

Cool, I had a similar question. I actually did get a loot tag and never scanned it in. Of course, now I have to figure out how to scan a code block (I'm not a complete luddite, just way behind the times.)

Whelp scannin an Amizon code is right easy if ya gots one of them fancy smart phones. It works just like the terminal does, just usin the camera of yer phone.

now if yer on a desktop computer, it'll try and use yer webcam. You do have a webcam, right?

I do have a webcam, but never saw a need to hook it up. Nothing worth recording/broadcasting happening here.

Smartphone? Yeah, got that but it's a bit old. Droid X. I'll have to see if the program works on the older software

To accommodate the camera-less, I can work it out so that you can enter the hodgepodge of characters on the tag instead of scanning it. May have time this afternoon, but if not I'll keep people updated.

obviously scanning will still work. this is just a fallback.
