A "muted" light that basically allows a gun to glow should be fine. Directed beams not so much.

Having just picked up a Firestrike (because, single shot and accurate), I am curious if I should forgo putting the battery in it, then? Specifically regarding the defused glow vs. the beam of light. Which one does it fall under?

Without even a hint of sarcasm: which do you think?

I don't know yet. I haven't put in the battery, as I literally bought it last night and had more important things to do than find where my batteries wound up after my move and test it out.

Being said, I will likely find out tonight, and give you a straight answer. I was curious if we already had an answer to this one somewhere.

Ah. Well, it ends up projecting a little targeting reticle. Which is neat*, but I'll let you shine it it your eye before you make the call.

Would anyone like a Maverick? I got three. Unpainted, un-modded. The NPCs don't need 'em.

And if you're all like OMG HOW CAN I THANK YOU, you can buy me a 12-pack of Mountain Dew Voltage or some Chinese food at some point.

Maybe I missed this but I assume in the setting someone carrying a gun or sword or whatever won't draw some odd reaction from people, or should they be "concealed" whenever possible?

Walking around with personal protection will probably not get you arrested.

Walking around with an RPG, a flamethrower, and some bales of razorwire, however...

Ah yes. The reason why common sense is a merit in WoD games.
People come to me looking for the truth as it suits them. They look for a happy ending to their troubles. Too bad for them. I don't do happy. As to putting an end to things, The Truth often does a fine job with out me.
