So quick question:

I was talking with someone and we realized that theoretically a Changeling could take Mechanic.
Is that an oversight, since they have a hate/hate relationship with metal?

Sooooo it's not an oversight. They'd just be a really terrible mechanic. I can't find a clip, but basically the opening of the 2nd episode of Todd and the Book of Pure Evil sort of sums it up if you swap "mechanics" for "Science."

It goes something like:

Student: "I have one true love, and that love is Science."
Teacher: "Well Science doesn't love you back. Hell, it doesn't even like you. I mean, it killed your parents. And you're not even doing well in this class."
Student: "Then I'll try even harder!"
Teacher: "Not gonna happen. You're twice as reckless as your parents, and you get half the results."

And so it goes...

Since your inspirational material got me in the mood, I have a Corp related questions.

If someone takes the skill Corporate Citizen, is the costume requirement, i.e. the uniform, laid out anywhere or do you just need a costume that has the corporate symbol on it?

The symbol is the big part, but once you sign on to a corporation you'll get a memo re: dress code.

so the mage skill battle caster lets you cast magic while holding a staff. What about a polearm? it may be a discouraged weapon style, but it's staff-like and you pretty much fight with it the same way.

Or what about a book? Those are magey things...
