If the skill has the same name it can only be purchased once regardless of how many times and ways you gain access to it. If the skills have different names but similar effects, you may purchase them both (e.g., there are a number of ways to get a Resist Fear skill).

This may be covered or even in the rulebook where I couldn't find it, but I must ask it.

Can you block darts/discs with any of the following; melee weapons, regular bucklers (i.e. not the TK buckler which has provisions for that.), or guns themselves?

For that matter what happens when a melee weapon hits a gun, does the wielder take the damage?

Thanks!

Darts are treated much the same as packets--if they strike you or anything you are holding you take the effect of the dart unless something odd is going on. Darts are also bound by the "costume" rule, which is to say if you dramatically and effectively leap out of the way and the dart catches only your dramatically flowing cloak, you may call "Costume" and take no effect. As per normal Costume rulings: do not abuse this rule, and do not pull a Bella Lagosi and hold your cloak out thinking it will product you. It will, in fact, make you a wonderful target.

I do appreciate this thread, I'm the kinda guy who likes to have the rulebook memories before starting a game (and I pretty much do!)

Just one question, Is the use magic item skill just for crafted items, like from spelwurks? Or am I more likely to find an easy bake oven with a tag 'requires advanced magic item use'?

Items which require "Use Magical Item" will be clearly marked as such. Most player crafted items will not require such a skill, though some may require a genre (e.g., Wizards using EMP grenades? Not so much...)

I have a minor question in regards to the "Tracking" Skill. I can see how this skill is a great help to expedite groups along to their various Death-tination. What would happen should the group be unfortunate enough during the encounter the one with Tracking be permed?
