Also: refusing the gift of Cthulhu is probably not the brightest idea.

Not that anything like that ever happened in one of my larps before...

Kinda makes me glad that I decided to use Ravens as my character's costume signature instead of tentacles. My messenger bag would probably have eaten my brain after the second event

We cannot officially confirm nor deny this statement.

We can however say that things with tentacles are firmly in the 'not to be trifled with' category, and often do what they damm well please. ("Imbue by technology to baby")

I reckon ya'll should treat tentacles with the same sort of respect as you would a "Happy fun ball". Namely: Do not taunt happy fun ball.

so from what I can see, the 'fury' skill in bound stacks with the wizard skill 'magic bolts.

this seems overpowered for the system, Is this intended? can an unleashed bound through 5 '6 by x' every two minutes?

You're also assuming that a fully unbound Bound would get to rest for two full minutes. They're monstrosities at that point that Town is either going to try to help take down to rebind or they're going to smash through whatever they were aimed at and leave to go back to Hell and plan their revenge on the puny mortals who thought they could keep the Bound restrained.

Yeah... a Bound becoming fully unbound is more or less a kin to a more extreme Nero Transform. Balance gets kinda thrown out the window 'cuase there is a very good chance you of you perming in the process.

Hi all,

I had a couple of quick questions: Is surgery repeatable on the same target back to back? (i.e. I have the surgery skill and work on an unstable person, can I do so for 6 minutes and heal 3 instead of 1?)

Also, can an Assistant or the Under the Knife skill apply to the A Surgeon's Hands skill, effectively reducing the time to instant?

Thanks,
SomeDude

Surgery is repeatable on the same target back to back, but you make the calls incrementally as you go. It allows the target to wake and get back to the front more quickly, or they can sit and let you keep working.

The skill "A Surgeon's Hands" is technically not the same skill as "Surgery" and therefore the skills mentioned do not stack.

On the topic of Shields...
1) You do not have to be a claviger.
1. In order to use a shield for the other classes that don't specifically say it under the header/subheader does it count as discourged (4 cp) or is it less??

2. Is it possible to start with a shield bigger than 'buckler' during character creation? Or that might be an option only within a hidden header?
