Medieval props available for storytellers (in bulk!)
Posted: Tue Aug 04, 2015 9:53 pmI’m on the board for Quest, a medieval themed LARP based out of Wesleyan, CT. Recently, the university forced us to take our props out of the free storage they are currently in, and we’ve been spending our coffers down to pay for a storage unit. This is untenable as we don’t currently have an income stream other than one game scheduled for next year.
I’m exploring the possibility of props sharing; If a gm of a medieval themed larp, or someone starting a larp, would be willing to pay for storage, they would have full use of them for your own games (absent a single game coming up next year). There is a mixture of tabards in good condition, furs and the like, and a wide variety of bottles, chests, etc.
If anyone is or knows anyone on staff for a medieval larp, or is planning on starting one soon, please contact me at awitt at. wesleyan.edu. So far I've talked to Cottington and Fifth Gate, but I'm not familiar with the other larps out there.
