Who's in charge of the typewriter plot?

I'm sorry, you don't have the necessary clearance level to access that information.

Is there something I can pass along for you?

Hmm, my intention was to find the player in charge of the in-game... Stuff. Not the staff member. Sorry if I confused things.

I think Herne, Liberty, and Gondorf were taking point on that bad boy.

It seems that Billy St Francis has been the reluctant lead.

I think you'd be good to do research and the arcane

I've been around since the first appearance of
Mr North - along with you, Eden, Sally, Lou, the Professor, and Vanessa -which is why people are looking to me on this. Plus besides understanding the full history of it, I'm good at logistics. And Mr Gondorf has excellent insight into the phenomenon. The last time I saw the pieces of the map we have to date Alexander had them, along with someone else who I can't recall.

How about we split lead - each adding what they do best - rather than having a "reluctant lead" who seems to have other things on their plate? Spread the love around a little ;)

I know you've said you have some insight into this and want to explore that and it seems to me you should lead the research efforts. If it comes to an actual op then someone with experience running one could step up. Since the original story was a cooperative collaboration, it might make sense to have the project to resolve this issue be one too.

I've had a few people approach me about this problem. I've tentatively asked Red if she wants to gather all the stories that were told so we can prepare ourselves for another Sally-Butcher Comes to Life experience. Has anyone else received offers of help?

((Wasnt this established a week ago when I asked if anyone had a issue with you taking point? Haven't seen a response since last Tuesday))

It was, nobody responded so I had made this thread to see what's what. Billy gave me all of the information.

I think it's looking like I'm going to take on the research when I'm able, then after we recover it and find a way to stop the shenannegans I'm going to find a way to destroy it.

((this is an oog forum but seems to be referencing in-game personality/characterization so I'm going to answer this as Liberty would ))

Where I was raised everyone is a leader, so this concept of only specific people leading seems... inefficient to me. With us whoever had the best insight into or expertise regarding a situation would be point, until their area of expertise was no longer in the forefront of an issue, then someone else would step in. We worked as a team with everyone equal and contributing what they did best.

Each to his own skills. You bring to the table arcane knowledge that is beyond my scope, so it seems to me you should take point for the first part of this. I'd suggest a team of people work on this. What I bring to this is the ability to assess individuals strengths and weaknesses and use them most efficiently in an op. In that vein, I suggest you recruit different people with different skills to conquer different elements of this issue.

You might need someone who specializes in spiritual matters, for which I'd suggest Alice as a possible member. She was there when Mr. North first appeared and she seems to be able to affect Mo, which suggests that there is a spiritual or faith element to this. Although she didn't type on the typewriter we did incorporate a drawing she did into the initial story. Mr. Gondorf has had some interesting and intelligent ideas on the concept of Tulpa. I do not know if he has researched this phenomenon before, but he could provide insight into what direction to read. As I've mentioned Red has offered her assistance and I've asked if she'd gather all the stories and a full accounting of everyone who has used the typewriter since as a scientist she is good at collecting data and generating hypotheses from it. There have been some discrepancies in the last as those who were initially involved in this, who first encountered Mr. North, have missed some of this action due to insufficient information about the scope of who is involved.

My suggestion is that we use everyone involved, or who wants to be involved, to the best of their skills. And that we don't exclude anyone who wants to have a part in solving this.

If my two cents can help then they're yours.
People come to me looking for the truth as it suits them. They look for a happy ending to their troubles. Too bad for them. I don't do happy. As to putting an end to things, The Truth often does a fine job with out me.
