Occams Razor

So next to each topic are those squares with the 4 lines. Sometimes they are highlighted with the dot inside meaning I haven't looked at it. I get that, but does anyone know what it means when:

It's highlighted without the dot in the center?
It has a little + next to it?
It has the caution triangle with the ! inside?

I can't find the info online, and my curiosity (appropriately) is killing me! Heeeelllllpppp

Finally, a question for me!!
