This is a post to see who might be interested in playing Lovecraft Legacies this year with a similar group concept. There are already a few of us planning on going, but the more people you have int he group the more fun it can be. Especially if you've got a ridiculous concept.
If you don't know what this is you can read all about it here.
http://www.cthulhularp.com/index.htmlThe quick and dirty of it is that it's a weekend long 24 hour live horror survival LARP set in the HP Lovecraft universe of the 1930's. NPC registration is limited because as a PC dies they get added to the NPC pool until all the PC's die, likely, or the event finally ends.
If you want to work as a group with those of us going feel free to chime in here as we come up with a fun concept.

I'm registered already, and I was at LL2. LL's GM is running a Isles this weekend, but after that I believe he is going to start looking at the rules. I'm working on a google docs character sheet for LL if anyone wants a copy. I don't quite have any ideas from a character perspective, but the number crunching is fun so far.

If you are at all interested in a lovecraft game. register now.
seriously.
LL1 was amazing, and I got heat-stroke because it was in august. (august+wool=death apparently)
LL2 was simply the most intense LARP experience i've ever had in my entire life. hands down.
Never before have I been so completely in the moment, so deep into the RP that I've prayed for dawn that hard.
Been that scared as the 13ft tall horror FOLDS ITSELF OUT A FIRE DOOR TO CHASE US.
Or felt survivors guilt when I saw all those characters that I'd gotten to know mere hours before, who had fallen, one by one as the night dragged on, waving goodbye as the ragged broken few of us stood on the 'train' that was our ticket home.
And god help me, I'm gonna be right there in the thick of things this time around. Because even if I dont survive this time, I know without a doubt it's going to be one hell of a fun time.

Hmmm, very tempted. Love the idea of a Cthullu game, but have too many ideas on character concept
(Farmer John and his pitchfork, but who's going to play my farmer's daughter?,
A Fuller Brush traveling salesman, but the briefcase would be a huge pain.
A professional wrestler, a masked Luchadore?
Maybe a priest that's a reformed burglar, pick the locks to the pearly gates,
A grave digger with his trusty shovel and extensive knowledge of the dead and not-so-dead,
A Jazz musician with a deadly saxophone, a brass assassin)
Anyone have a group need a body? If I can make up my mind on concept

Also ....
It is very possible I will be spending the whole 3 day Lovecraft event in a dress .... so if you are used to seeing me as an old man, and want to see me as an old lady, this is the game for you!

Mr Selfridge and I have agreed on a group concept.
Think the End of the World Movie, set in 1938 and we're meeting up in our home town of West Windsor. Tom's going to be the straight laced one who still lives in town and just wants to get his work done. If you want in pop on over to here to request to join the discussion group.
