Light Sources

A few people have mentioned the lack of lighting during the past event. But don't worry, we have an answer!
Bring filtered light sources like we encourage you to.
The camp we're at now, Camp Sargent, has some ambient lighting due to being in a residential neighborhood with street lights, houselights, general light pollution, etc.
The camp we'll be at in the spring, Camp Windsor, is in the middle of nowhere and has no ambient lighting pretty much at all. You will have 370 acres of meandering terrain. You're going to want to know where to step, and there is no way for us to mark all the treacherous spots with glowsticks.
So. Bring a flashlight that doesn't blind people. UV = Bad. Red filtered = generally good. Multiple layers of wax paper over a standard light = probably good (flash it in your eyes in a dark room. You blind? Not enough wax paper).
People who say things were too dark? This post is aimed at you. Yeah, you, not the other people. When everyone assumes "the next guy over will have a light," nobody has lights, and then the bears eat you before the monsters can.
