I started on my Pel and hit the save for later button. It was accepted and sent me back to the main database page. When I went back in, everything is now blank.
Headsup.

hmmmm. I'll look into it, but I do see some non-finished PEL data being saved, so it should be working...
Cathy, can you give it a quick test (just type "test" or something in) and see if it still doesn't save?

I hoped into it this time and it said 'test' already.
I typed in cookie and did the save function. This time I got the red bar confirming that the save was completed. It didn't show up last time.
Also as a side note, now the option says 'Continue.' When I tried it the first time to go back in, all it had was 'Start.'

But I will give it another go and try the first section again to make sure all is well.

This has more to do with ensuring my brain is NOT as sleep deprived as I think it is: After we send in our PEL's does the option lock out afterward? I ask because I know I sent it in last night but the option to submit is still active. I wish to avoid congesting the system filling out PEL's In triplicate.

SESSION TIMEOUT!!!
That's what it is...
Since the PEL page is tied to your user session, if you take more than an hour or so to fill out your PEL, the page could lose your session and cause the lost data.
I just added a keep alive ping to prevent this issue moving forward.
The PEL form does lock you from filling out the PEL more than once (the button text changes from Start/Continue to "Review"), so if you don't see that, your PEL was likely not received. Feel free to PM me and I can confirm one way or the other.
