Occams Razor

This is a total non sequitur yet I feel with the impending doom about to befall us I figure this might be as good a chance as any.

Remember folks: As horrifying as it would be to find yourself faced with the 7 day curse from The Ring, such horror can be turned to laughter with help of a couple of flat screen TV's duct taped facing each other. Or One Facing out a very high Window. I heard that bear traps can be cheap when bought out of season. Show this hellion what Prof. Tom, Jerry, and Bugs taught you. Or if you don't quite care how long you live on the seventh day, grab a portable TV and do the WW2 minefield sprint and dive through the window into Chuck Norris's living room. Sure you might end up in a Godzilla v Mothra situation once the girl crawls through the screen. Take comfort in the fact after Chuck finishes removing his foot from your backside, you will have a front row seat to once in a lifetime fight.

I just wonder what happens if you turn off the screen when she's only part way through (remote control on "The Clapper" for the amusement factor)

It was a joke with a message. In the face of horror a little humor can make a difference. It might even make all the difference in the world. Besides, how many times have you seen a hero/heroine written out of a show laughing in the face of death as they pull a shiny red button of doom. It can be awesome or it can be contrite, maybe even subverted later, but it often has the desired effect at the time. A final one finger salute the enemy.

The first time I saw that movie, I was thinking someone should play with the tracking and she'd get cut in half on her way out. (The movie was in VHS so tracking was actually a thing)
