Bird seed for packets

Bird seed for packets

Postby Nick Sleet » Fri Aug 23, 2013 6:08 pm

How completely round must bird seed for packets be? Our local pet store doesn't carry millet seeds, so does anyone have recommendations for brands of bird seed that work best for packets? Currently I'm using fish food, but it smells like fish food so... :?

Finch bird food.

The combo - ratio is a little different depending on the brand. Mainly, the seeds are a nice small round version with the rare baby black seed in there that I usually just pick out. I got my bag from Wal-mart only during summer time.

Now, Finch Bird seed doesn't have as much crap in it so faster to make packets with, however the bag turns out to be $2-3 more...WORTH IT!

Fixed! Also I have discovered that my cat is obsessed with fish food. Obviously the cats are not what they seem :)
