Archetypes

If you go back to your cabin to change into your unbound form, you can store your unbound claws with your unbound costume, so you don't have to awkwardly carry it around at all times.
therefore I will need to go get my costuming and will likely need help putting it on properly.
It'll be like Petticoat Corner* all over again, except, you know, demonic instead of girly.

*For those who didn't play LE, Petticoat Corner was what we nicknamed our cabin. Several of us wore complicated costuming with corsets and bustles and whatnot and had to help each other get dressed.

Yeah storing my claws with my costume was my plan, its not like I can use them when I don't have any bindings removed.

Maybe we can call it: Infernal slave alley?

It could be both demonic and girly, we shouldn't judge.

To Cathy: Psychics cannot be MedTechs. That was a typo on my part and it has been fixed, sorry.
Ok, now that all the Headers, Speciaizations, and Races are posted, It's question time :?:
(Insert Shade/Spirit Question Here)
Due to a set of issues and nomenclatural points of interest Occam's Razor will have the following house rules:

1) Shades are dead things. When you die, you gain the Shade trait. Sub in "Shade" for "Spirits of the Dead" in the core rules.
2) "Spirit" is a trait. Have fun with that. It still implies the "insubstantial" aspects as listed in the core rules.
3) "Shadow" is another trait. "Shadow" indicates "I'm not really here." Given that Spirits are things you can talk to, we want it to be clear when people are setting up a mod or travelling vs. beings you may be able to interact with.

To Liahgeron
General:
1. So, as it’s not explicitly stated for OR, are you considered to have the “hand free” for the situation of casting with claw(s) in hand?

2. Do you intend for packet disarms to work on guns? It’s another one of those things not specified in the 5.3 rules. Shields require a “Disarm Shield,” hence my question.

3. Is “bleeding” meant to be a new status effect? It’s mentioned under diagnose and Wrap Star and I was trying to determine if it’s meant to be an improved stabilize or not.

4. Do the Imbue shields from Wizard and Bound stack? Ie, can you have both active and shield the first 2 ranged effects that strike you, spend 4 minutes meditating and do it all again?

5. Is "by Hex" meant to work like in 7v or is it just a delivery trait?
1: From the Core Rules: "To deliver a packet attack, the arm that is delivering the packet must be free and the hand empty except for the packet itself. A free arm cannot have props tucked under it or tied to it other than armor. You cannot deliver packet attacks if you cannot use game skills, or if the arm is affected by something that prevents its use such as a Maim effect or shackles. Some packet based skills have additional requirements as well.

2: From the Core Rules: "You must drop everything in the hand indicated by the verbal... If you are holding a fragile or breakable prop, including an air gun, you may put it down rather than drop it, but in this case you cannot pick it up for a full five seconds."

3: Bleeding is not an effect, it is a trait.

4: Currently, yes. Expect that to change, though.

5: Hex is a trait.
So backtracking a bit as I've been lurking without posting:
Bound-
1. Are they required to follow orders of their keeper? Is it more of a "letter of the law" sort of thing? Or is it left up to the PC how they'd like to play it?

2. Are Bound meant to have bindings undone in the middle of a fight? Or is it more expected for their Keepers to know enough about a battle in advance to predict if they need it? Or are they just meant to go around partially unsealed at all times? And is the full Unbound meant to be a perm condition if they don’t rebind you?

3. If it's the former, can the keeper's get an option to "fast unlock" the bindings in exchange for a stat expenditure?

4. Are Bound expected to go around primarily with all 3 of their seals up at all times?

5. Are Fury's effects meant only to be for the full Unbound?

6. As to Keepers, are they meant to be established by the Bound or the former Keeper?
1: The play dynamic of the Bound is one that can be very interesting and rewarding or very problematic depending on the temperaments of those involved. Be careful when choosing this race. That said, we at Occam's Razor are running a game for mature adults (yes, I know we run around the woods hitting each other with plumbing supplies, but regarding the ability to handle mature themes we have standards and we're holding you guys to them). Personally, I'd assume the Bound would obey the orders of the Keeper, at least to the letter of the law as you mentioned. That said, I'm not big on mind control, per se, and I won't set up a "you lose free will and you have no out" scenario. Play it as you see fit, and play it in good faith.

2: A) No. B) Keepers and Bound should work together to figure out when unbinding should take place. It's not something meant to be done lightly. C) That's up to the Bound, but the fluff is that the longer they go with less binding, the more free will they get back--and they're vengeful demons from the Pit. D) That would be telling.

3: Sounds like an interesting avenue of in-game research, but right now, we expect a 5 minute unbinding ritual. Kudos if you get LED candles and invocations in tongues involved. Ooh, and a summoning circle. :D

4: Well, a demon in full lockdown poses the least danger to the Keeper and those around them. Up to you guys.

5: Yes.

6: The Bound are meant to only have one Keeper. That said, life happens both in and out of game, and it would be impractical to make a PC dependent on another PC for all their fun. As such, each session the Bound can choose a new Keeper. Suss it out how you like, but my suggestion is that the Contract is passed to a new person.
So backtracking a bit as I've been lurking without posting:

Strain 117

1. In the cases where multiple Xenos respond, how much choice do they have in pairing off to battle? Is it an immediate free for all? Must a latecomer jump into a duel midfight having identified the other two participants as Xenos by their combat?

2. Is there a rule of thumb on “appropriate” challenge fights? Namely, I suspect they’re supposed to duel with swords? Are Guns considered gauche? Or do we just not care?

3. If you die and aren’t revived, “Speak to Shade” won’t work, but will “Speak to Spirit?”
1: I believe this was addressed previously in this thread.

2: Guns are considered gauche, yes. Gauche doesn't mean "can't," just "it's in poor taste." Expect repercussions.

3: No, as you're a Shade, not a Spirit, as addressed above in the Shade/Spirit/Shadow definition. Basically, you get one bite at the apple as Strain 117.

Am I caught up? I think I'm caught up...

I would also point out that Bound are Demons, and certainly you should expect some reaction about that from other characters. I'm willing to hazard a guess that characters will be fairly wary around completely bound demons, and even more so around demons who have been partially unbound.

In fact, I imagine that there would be words with someone who was letting a demon go around without one of it's bindings most of the time, since it's kind of extremely dangerous.
