I tried a few 'side sash' (I assume) methods during the ADs, to little effect. Since my boffers don't have any cross-guards, keeping them on loops on my hip/belt didn't workout so well, and with two (a long and a short), flopping around all-scissor like seems to be a problem (hence the 'scabbard' of a yoga-mat bag).
I did see a few folks that had what amounted to a sheath on their hips with 2 boffers stuck inside, and that was somewhat unwieldy. Last time around, I had mine stuck in a holster and slung over my shoulder on a belt, but it wasn't quite stable enough.
My current line of thought is to use something like the above linked yoga-mat strap. I tested this with some elastic loops and a belt the other day, and it worked pretty well. I just want to compare it to a more fitted sheath or sling.
