It was just a simple miscommunication about similar-sounding names. Then one thing led to another and we're talking with the sheriff about dead bodies and I'm standing between a crazy man and his even crazier cleaver.

It was just a little infestation problem. It was the late 60's, people were less hygienic then. One thing led to another and someone decided to take "kill it with fire" to a ludicrous extreme.
