I was going to ask if you like cheese, but now I feel compelled to ask a more profound question

I missed the Wyld challenge. Besides the lead up of the broken bones, gnawing hunger, and random bouts of unconsciousness, that is. That I did not miss.

What did you have to do to win the position of champion?

Gary nodded his head. "And a good reason, too. May those who oppose you and the Wyld fall if they choose not to flee."

He paused for a moment and glanced at the lake again. "It seems that at least some of us are becoming better... Whatever we are since coming to Whisper Hill. Must be something in the water."

As Liberty approached he dipped his head in greeting and toed the pebbles at his feet to allow the two to speak.
"Desperation will turn any mortal to the darkest secrets hidden in the darkest vaults."
