:: posted on the board/wall/door of the diner (whatever makes sense) is a piece of blue paper scrawled on with a sharpie ::

Beating the drum, bushes, or whatever else needs to be beaten -

Mellie, Alice, Aurora, Maxwell, Mike & Michael, Ed, Shady, Romeo, whoever else I may have missed in this list whose theme is hopefully apparent -

I have some information to share and possibly act on

We could meet or exchange notes - though I'd rather not repeat 10 times

- Liberty

After posting this up, Liberty goes and sits down in the diner, spreads 5 small notebooks out in front of her, and starts frowning at them as she flips pages.

Alice arrives shortly after, pulling her headphones down off her ears and rolling her shoulders back under her jacket before sliding out of it. She tucked the bat up under her arm and shook out her braid before sitting down across the table and to the left of Liberty.

"Hey," she greeted quietly before smoothing her front and resting her headphones around her neck.

:: Liberty says:
Hey
:: without looking up from her notebooks. Her next move negates the impression she's giving of being absorbed in her illegible scrawl as she carefully pulls free a blank page and writes on it then slides it over to Alice ::

:: On it is written ::
In October an investigative team found a large pool of blood with Nick's id in it. The Sheriff confirmed that they are investigating Nick's murder

:: She then pulls out another piece of paper, hastily writes something else and slides it over ::
A bullet casing found at the scene was connected to Spectrum

:: Once that piece is delivered she looks up, her gaze intense and her mouth subtly tightened ::

Alice blinked and stared at the first note. A series of subtle facial shifts followed. First her eyes widened and she paled slightly. Then her brow furrowed. Then her jaw worked. Five seconds passed. Ten. Then she, presumably having finished processing that, moved onto the second. Her head tilted and her lips tightened as the corners turned downwards. She reached for the bag by her feet and began to dig through it before coming up with a pen. She began to write to the tiny notebook in front of her.

[Do we know] she stopped writing and frowned at the paper as she tried to figure out her words properly.

[No body was found, yes? Did they do a blood type match? If anyone could have faked something like this, it would be him.] she pushed the paper back and poked a finger at 'anyone' for added emphasis.

::Liberty leaned in and tapped the word 'anyone', then pulled out another piece of paper and wrote ::
What I thought. Charlotte couldn't confirm blood was Nick's. When i pushed was when Sheriff emphasized that they were investigating his murder

:: She pushed the paper towards Alice, then stopped halfway, pulled it back and added ::
Something about how he repeated this... emphasis... suggests he was making a point.

:: That written she pushed the paper to Alice and pulled out another piece ::
Charlotte said probably 2 liters of blood. Women have 4.5, men 6, most lose consciousness after losing 1.5. If it *is* Nick's blood he didn't walk out of there but... there was a window, broken out and footprints leading away so there's a chance. Yet, the Sheriff was adamant. ??? Suggestion was Nick was not alone and other person fled.

:: She ran out of space on the small piece of paper so pushed that one over and started on a new one ::
Sheriff did shoot a federal agent in head and set to look like suicide so... he does know setting up a scene so maybe something there he saw that said it wasn't set up?

:: Pushing that one over to add to the last, she pulled out another piece of paper and started writing shorter notes ::
No body, but Sheriff mentioned drop of lye near tire tracks. Lye used to dissolve bodies.
:: She pauses, then writes in a heavier hand ::
But, only one drop? Suggests intentional - meant to mislead???
:: Another pause, she looks at the wall a moment, her gaze ticking slightly ::
Also, if Nick set this up why implicate Spectrum with bullet?

:: After underling the last she let this piece of paper slide to Alice ::
