Housekeeping
Posted: Fri Feb 13, 2015 2:56 amAs we move into the exciting 2015 LARPing season, we'd like to take care of a few Housekeeping issues:
People who currently have Rank (Other Organization) on their character sheets will see this changed to Position with the same number attached. This will be a change seen in upcoming updates to the OR Rule book. Basically, you can take Rank in one of the factions listed in the rule book. If you have standing in some other organization, we're going to call it Position since it is more fluid on our end than the structure we have for the OR factions. Otherwise, business as usual.
We've had some reports about folks slipping through the cracks as far as information they were supposed to have gotten. We're sorry and want to fix this! Please get in touch with staff if you fall into one of the following categories:
1. You purchased Rank in an OR faction but did not receive the informational documents appropriate to your Rank. (ex. You have Rank 2 in AMT but never received something from plot with the info about AMT labeled Rank 1 and Rank 2.)
2. You purchased Rank (Other Org) or Position and didn't receive any informational documents.
3. You purchased Powerful Knowledge but didn't receive it from us.
4. You purchased Patron but do not know who that is. We don't mean that you haven't seen your Patron yet, we know about these, but want to make sure people at least know the name/character description of their Patron as much as your character knows it.
5. You do not know what your Lucky Charm or Strange Inheritance is. You might not know what it does or why it is significant, but we want to make sure you know what item it is. In some cases, it may be appropriate for you not to know what item it is, but let us know anyway.
6. You do not know what the thing you are Hunted by is. Again, it may be appropriate for you not to know, but let us know anyway.
7. You purchased Chance Encounter but do not know what part of your backstory that refers to.
8. If there's something I missed that you think you're missing, let us know.
