Occams Razor

Ladies and Gentlemen:

As of today Occam's Razor plans on having a pair of Adventure Days. These one-day events will be:

August 31
September 28

Both events will be held at:

Check In will begin at 11:00am. Please arrive for Check In.

There are some things to note about the site:

1) This is NOT the site we will be holding full events at--this is just a place for some intros.
2) There isn't much in the way of full blown heated buildings. At all, really. We've tried to schedule the events earlier in the season to avoid the Cold, but bring an extra sweater just in case. Though, to be honest, you're more likely to need an extra bottle of Gatorade.
3) This is NOT the site we will be holding full events at. That bears repeating, I think. This is a day camp, rather than an overnight camp.
4) We will be providing dinner to those who want to buy in (possibly pizza, possibly burgers/veggie burgers, etc.). Given that the events are only a day long, we request that people do not leave site for food. Bring it with you or buy in, please.

I feel the need to point out that the second event is exactly 26 years from the date of my birth. Best b-day present ever. Except the flowers Adam got me last year...i loved that too.

Sweet! Sorry other NPC games on those weekends...^_^ I got me a date with coolness.

Aw Damn, the second one day is the same weekend Shadows is starting up.

There will always be conflicts when games are scheduled -- that is both the blessing and the curse of living in New England, an extremely LARP-dense area.

While we will try to not overlap with the same games every time, we also endeavor not to overlap with games us staff members have commitments to.

Just because we have a CP exchange with a game does not mean we wont conflict with their game ever -- it is the nature of the beast; scheduling LARP events with campsites that host summer camps, winter sports, weddings, and other manners of events is difficult. Combine that with the fact that there are dozens of games running in this region in the same kind of timeline we are looking at, and the situation yields itself to the inevitability of conflicting events.

Sad truth... but yay game!
