Question

So there is a nifty skill that is "By my gesture, Short Repel to hidden by Will". How does that work exactly? Does the effect stay even after I drop the gesture? Or can I only hold the gesture for 10 seconds?

Gesture attacks last until the gesture is broken, right? Unless, of course, they deliver an instantaneous effect (e.g., Death, or Damage), which means that if the rest of the call contains a Duration aspect, that Duration overrides the implicit Duration of Gesture.

In this case, Gesture acts as a delivery mechanism, and Short is the duration of the effect.
