Real World Religions in Game

Hey... so I had an interesting question from a prospective player.

Because this is a game set in a Darker Version of the Real World... it is possible for Characters to belong to a Real World religion.

This lends to the possibility of people playing Real World religious leaders. I know in some gaming systems (NERO) this is not OK. But will it be OK in Whisper Hill?

Do people have thoughts on this topic?
