Occams Razor

Couldn't find an answer to this with a search.

Since it looks like I may be picking up some skills next year that have a prop requirement of "must be boff safe and counts as a device and a weapon." I was wondering if this could be a cosmetically modified NERF gun rather than a foam prop? The skills in question are not actual combat skills, but more along the lines of repair/healing.

I'd have to see the prop, but off the cuff, that would need to be a seriously padded nerf gun to even be in the running--I'd stick with the intended boffer weapon props if I were you.
