I'm putting together some stuff for different characters but I needed to double check something. Since this is in modern times where technology is rampant what is the rule on lights? Are flash lights allowed or will they be excluded due to their effects on night vision?

lights must be filtered and cannot be pointed in people's faces.

So no Miner Head gear-type lights. Lights as gun attachments might be a no-no too (You kinda Have to point them at people to fire) I'm planning on looking for a belt mounted light with filter options (A red lens, a diffuse lens) I can take the lens out when looking for something on the ground, but keep the red filter in for running around/combat. It won't mess up night vision as badly.

Questions regarding Double Tap skill for Hitman specialization:

How does a double tapped shotgun work? does it double just the first projectile (per shotgun rules) like you shoot twice from the same barrel and once from the other or does it double both projectiles?

Does Double Tap work with the Heavy Weapon's Specialist specialization, such as Machine Gun, which allows you to use a machine gun that deals 6 damage per projectile instead of the rifle: dart 5? If it would affect Machine gun base damage would it affect the other aspects listed and/or the other heavy weapons?

Thanks!

So I have a calimacil wrench that i was looking to use for the one day, do you guys think you will be allowing these for the one day?

Also my team has a good amount of guns we were looking to bring, but some of them are not exactly painted at this point, would those be allowed for the first one day, with the understanding that with a little more time they will look super awesome?

Thanks!

While we are willing to hit you in the eye with anything once, we advise you to bring a standard boffer weapon as a backup. I personally have yet to see a latex weapon I'd feel comfortable getting stabbed with, and I've seen at least one latex wrench that was just begging to take out somebody's eyes. Plural. (I'm using "latex" as a general term for a type of weapon which puts "realism" over "safety." But then, I'm the guy who organizes insurance for this whole shindig.).

Regarding guns: if at all possible, please have your guns at least base coated in something. We do try to run an relatively immersive game, and while "this hear nerf gun is black" is serviceable, "this hear neon toy" kinda hampers the illusion, if you understand. So--if there's absolutely no way to make it happen, we won't light you on fire, but I've seen some impressive last minute coverups using duct tape and blood.

In regards to the guns, I've got my strongarm base-coated in black, but I didn't paint the cylinder for darts or the front orange tip. Would that be more than acceptable?
