Occams Razor

Ted made his way through the men’s dormitory, Styrofoam cup and small book in hand. He chuckled to himself yet again about his situation--had he not had car trouble months ago, he would be in Berlin celebrating the morning Mass. Instead he had been given what he liked to call a “surprise vacation.” He often enjoyed the quiet mornings of the camp. With two other priests and such a small population of Catholics, he found he actually had time to sit down and read his book. He casually made his way over to his bed and after kicking off his slippers, sat back, sipped his coffee, and began to read the next chapter…

Gil runs by the Dorms calling for Father Ashmore. After a loop or two around the outside, Gil heads back to the Father's room, which had been empty when he ran by the window earlier.

"Father! Father Ashmore!" Gil rounds the corner and pokes his head into the room. "Thank goodness! I found you! Sorry to bug ya, but need you quick!"

Ted sits up quickly, spilling his coffee in the process. “Ah! What?! What’s going on?” The priest disregards his now stained shirt and jumps out of his bed, reaching for his jacket and bible while talking. “You look like someone has been shot, what is the matter?”

Gil winces at the comment, "Well... almost? There was a bit of a confrontation about exams and Alice ended up wacked over the head by the guards. And that was the better option given that 3 other guards put sights on her till the director jumped in the way and flagged them down. Suffice to say, we could use you at the medical tent for when she wakes up. Please come?"

The Fathers eyes widen as Gil delivers the news. “They hit her and dragged to the Medical tent? Good Lord, I hope we’re not too late!” Ted puts the Bible back down and instead reaches for a small black leather bag. “We need to move quickly… she will react… poorly to being in the medical tent without her permission…”

With that the Priest sprints out of the door.

Gil blinks at the rapid response.

"Well... that was easy...and ominous..."

Gil sighs and runs to follow the priest.
