There will be running water on site this event. The bathrooms near Shadegrove will be out of order, but there will be running water in the Diner. We're reasonably sure there will be water in the cabins as well.
2. Marco will be selling some food this weekend from the Diner kitchen, vendor style. This will not be at the level of providing full meal service--we have been told "burgers, grilled cheese, and maybe some pasta"--but will be available as an extra. We've also made Marco aware that PCs will be using the Diner kitchen, so that will still be available to you

Below are the cabin assignments for the upcoming event. Cabin assignments are based on registration, and specifically on the team names listed during registration. I have a hunch that some people may be showing up to game who are not listed below--while there are clearly plenty of bunks available on site, if people want to be officially lodged with their friends, they have to let us know they're coming to game. I'll try to work any issues out if people tell me sooner rather than later (drop me a PM or E-mail! No worries, I assure you!), but if people show up to game unannounced, I can't guarantee them a specific lodging. Plus, you know, every so often rocks fall from the sky and explode cabins, so stay on your toes.

The Last Free Voice has sent a coded message (per usual) to his trusted friends in Whisper Hill, scheduling a clandestine meeting. "Do you want to know the truth? So do I. Bring what you know. And tinfoil. Tell no one."
(Other NPCs will also be available for RP!)

While this is an In Game event, a couple OOG things to note:

Though we are not using the Accelerant Rules, you can spar with boffer weapons if you like, but you cannot use Skills or actually harm anyone.

We don't typically have extra NPCs at these off-season events as we aren't running major plot, but any NPCs planning to attend should contact staff (staff@occamsrazorlarp.com).

Those of you who attended our other "evening special" events may remember our parking rules! We're also not allowed to use other lots at Camelot besides Visitor Parking, which is commonly full. Your best bet is to park along the road coming into the complex (Village Court). Here again is that handy map with warnings, in case you would like to leave with your car intact.

Look long and hard, because I have a hunch some people may be very excited about coming to the event, but maybe they forgot to register, and if they don't register, I can't assign them to a cabin with their friends. If you need to change a team designation, or if you need to poke a friend so they register so they can bunk with you and not the Penance, now is the time to do so.

The townsfolk of Whisper Hill, being of differing beliefs for various reasons, did hold their traditional Non-Denominational Holiday Party earlier this winter as usual. But word has been going around that someone is planning a birthday party for Brandon Winters in February, but shh! Don't tell the Sheriff! It's a surprise...

In addition, 2017 Season Passes will be available for purchase for $330. Season Passes guarantee you a slot at each of the 4 Weekend Events held in 2017--our final season! Please note that $330 is the cost of the 4 events (at $80 apiece) plus the 2017 Insurance Fee ($10). Payment is accepted in cash, by check made out to Jacob Mandell, and by credit card.

If you do not attend an event you have paid for you may either a) gain CP and Research Points and other per game resource grants as though you had attended the event, or b) apply the credit for the event to the next event you attend and have not already paid for. We will not be able to refund events not attended.

This includes people who have bought season passes. While a Season Pass guarantees you the right to a slot, sometimes people with passes can't make events for whatever reason, and we wouldn't want to turn someone else away if we had an empty slot.

As a reminder, registration is done by logging in to the and clicking on Manage Events.

Registration will include a number of questions--please do your best to answer them completely and honestly. Especially the drop down ones--being vague on those will be a hardship. In all seriousness, though, we do need people to be specific regarding team names. When Bob writes "Team Awesome" and Eliza writes "Bob's Team" it can lead to issues--which Bob? Where did we put Bob? Etc. "Team Awesome" all around is much easier for us to deal with.

You do not need to have an approved character history to register, we'll try to make sure everything is squared away well before the event. New characters and character rewrites should have their histories in by two weeks pre-event, October 28, for us to have time to read them over and have them approved by the event.

Unless and until we hear otherwise, this will be a Cold Weather Event () with our Sleeping Off-Site Policy in place (). If we get word that there are any changes, we will pass them on to you as soon as we can.
